Seasense Boutique Hotel & Spa

Seasense sits directly on Palmar Beach in the Flacq District, on the sheltered eastern side of Mauritius. The hotel is adults-only and was renovated in August 2024. Sixty-three rooms are arranged across two levels in five categories: Charm, Deluxe, Junior Suite, Senior Suite, and Senior Sea Suite (Royal). Ground-floor Beachfront rooms and suites step straight onto the sand; first-floor Ocean rooms look out over the water. The Senior Sea Suites (Royal) add a private pool area and dedicated butler service, with private terraces fitted with swings.

Three restaurants cover the main dining needs. Epicure serves international gourmet food under a thatched roof and connects to Le Connaisseur, an on-site wine cellar holding over a thousand bottles and more than one hundred labels, including a Champagne collection from several major houses. Ti Moris runs open buffets, themed dinners, and live-cooking stations. The Watering Hole bar and lounge faces the lagoon; Ti Lambic operates poolside and on the sand through the day. An evening dress code — trousers and shoes for men — applies across restaurants and bars.

Other facilities include a spa, a boathouse, and a fitness centre. The hotel sits within a tropical garden. Palmar Beach faces the sheltered lagoon that runs along this stretch of coastline, which typically sees calmer conditions than the windward west coast.
