Sesfontein Guesthouse
Sesfontein Guesthouse occupies the centre of Sesfontein village in Kunene Region, 110 kilometres north of Palmwag. The property comprises ten standard rooms, each furnished with one double bed; an extra single bed can be added. All rooms are en-suite with air-conditioning and mosquito nets. A swimming pool, secure parking, and complimentary wireless internet are available on site. The restaurant prepares meals using local ingredients including bananas, pumpkins, tomatoes, and carrots grown in the region; the kitchen bakes its own bread daily.

Full-day drives depart for the Hoanib River to track desert-adapted elephants on foot and by vehicle; sightings are never guaranteed. Morning excursions visit Himba villages where residents demonstrate daily tasks and explain traditional life. Sundowner drives climb to lookout points above the village with drinks and snacks at sunset. Sleep-out packages place dome-style tents with stretchers and bedrolls in the Hoanib riverbed or among rocks for a night under open sky. Rhino-tracking excursions on foot with a guide run as multi-day packages combining nights at the guesthouse with a riverbed camp. You can hear roosters before dawn. Ongongo Waterfall Campsite at Warmquelle lies 25 kilometres south, also operated by the guesthouse.
