Severin Sea Lodge runs three dining venues on Bamburi Beach, each with a different format and kitchen focus.

The Kisima Restaurant is the main dining room, serving buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Evening service alternates between set à la carte menus and themed buffet nights — a rotation that changes through the week.

The Safari Bistro sits beside the Safari Bar and runs an Italian-focused menu: pizza, pasta, ice cream, and pastries. It also covers late breakfasts, which makes it useful if you are arriving from the beach or the water.

The Imani Dhow is the most distinct of the three. The vessel is a Zanzibar Jahazi — a traditional wooden trading dhow — built over forty-five years ago. It once carried cotton, grain, and other cargo between Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam, and Mombasa under a Bajuni crew of sixteen sailors. The dhow is now moored at the lodge and serves as a restaurant; the kitchen draws on Swahili coastal cooking alongside broader menus. Eating aboard gives you the structure and the scale of the original working vessel.

The lodge also has two bars, including the swing and safari bar, which serves cocktails and mocktails in the evenings. Half-board guests are served through the Kisima; lunch and additional meals are available à la carte across all three venues.
