Perched on a sandstone ridge beside Singita Pamushana Lodge, this exclusive-use house looks out over Malilangwe Dam and the surrounding wilderness reserve. Five bedrooms, each with its own private deck, open onto shared living areas, an interactive kitchen and a bar-deli, then out to a large rim-flow pool with panoramic views. Décor draws on the region's tribal history, kept light and airy rather than heavy. Rooms come with air conditioning, mini bar, dressing gowns and a private plunge pool. Set within the 130,000-acre Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, the house is built for families or groups travelling together.
