Sok San Beach Resort

Sok San Beach Resort occupies a white-sand beach on the west coast of Koh Rong, a rainforest-covered island in the Gulf of Thailand. Ninety-six units are divided between five pavilion buildings and 20 chalets. Sixteen pavilion sea-view rooms open directly onto the sand; each measures 22.6 m² and has a private terrace with table and chairs, plus two reserved sun loungers and a parasol on the beach. Forty garden-view pavilion rooms of the same size face the surrounding forest. Ten lofts, two per pavilion on the first floor, measure 70 m² and combine a bedroom with a sitting area, kitchenette, and powder room. Traditional Khmer-style chalets are freestanding structures with wraparound balconies. Two beachfront suites, each 75 m², sit at the water's edge and comprise a bedroom with king bed and a separate sitting room, both with en-suite bathrooms. Five garden-view chalets and 13 family chalets occupy quieter inland plots; family units contain two bedrooms. All accommodation includes air conditioning, safe, minibar, and complimentary bottled water.

La Terrasse restaurant serves international and Khmer dishes. The Sundeck beach bar operates near the shore. A spa offers massage, facial treatments, manicure, and pedicure. Horse riding is available for riders up to 55 kg. Guided kayak trips explore nearby mangrove channels. Bioluminescent plankton can be observed in the water after dark, conditions permitting. Island-hopping excursions, snorkelling, and sunset cruises depart by speedboat. The resort runs its own ferry service from Sihanoukville Port; journey time is under an hour.
