Swakopmund Hotel & Entertainment Centre
The hotel is built around the 1901 German railway station at 2 Theo-Ben Gurirab Avenue in Swakopmund, between the Namib Desert dunes to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The station building now anchors the public areas. Ninety rooms range from standard doubles and twins to luxury kings and queens, family rooms, and suites with separate lounges. Standard rooms measure 20 m²; luxury rooms span 25.6 m²; king suites reach 40 m². All include air conditioning, mini bar, bath and shower, television, and tea and coffee facilities. South-facing rooms overlook the pool terrace.

Platform One restaurant serves à la carte and buffet meals from 06h30 to 22h30. Whistlestop Café offers light meals and coffee in a courtyard setting. Conductors Cabin operates as a pub. The Mermaid Casino occupies the ground floor. Two conference rooms, Spitzkoppe 1 and Spitzkoppe 2, seat 240 each and can combine for events of 480. Three smaller boardrooms accommodate 12 to 40. An outdoor pool, spa, business centre, and secure parking are available. Staff speak English, Afrikaans, and German. The hotel provides twenty-four-hour security and laundry service.
