Tabebuia Spa & Safari Resort

Tabebuia Spa & Safari Resort sits on the shore of Lake Nyabikere at Rweteera, outside Fort Portal in western Uganda. Guests stay in one of three accommodation types: Lakeside Lullaby Suites with lake-facing beds and private balconies, Whispering Lake Villas with contemporary interiors and lake views, or Lakeside Breeze Residences, larger units built for families of up to six, with a master bedroom, twin beds, and an open-plan living area. All look out over the water.

The spa offers massage, restorative, and body therapy treatments delivered by resident therapists. The infinity pool overlooks the lake. A tea house and a fire pit serve for evening use. Dining follows a farm-to-table approach using locally sourced ingredients; meals can be taken in the main restaurant, poolside, in the tea house, or served privately at scenic spots around the property.

The monthly Into Stillness programme, a five-day, four-night wellness series run with Activate Body Therapy, brings together yoga sessions led by certified instructors from the Sadhguru School of Yoga in Uganda, guided meditation, sound therapy, and plant-forward meals. Group size is kept small.

Kibale National Park, one of Africa's principal destinations for chimpanzee trekking, is nearby. The resort also arranges guided access to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Rwenzori Mountains, and Semuliki National Park. On-site, guests can join guided nature walks, farm tours, local lake tours, and e-bike rides. Day visits are accepted, but all dining, spa, and activity bookings require advance reservation.
