Tenikwa Lodge
Set on 46 hectares of Tsitsikamma Forest and Cape Fynbos at The Crags, Tenikwa Nature Lodge is sixteen rooms in two buildings plus stand-alone cabins metres from lion night camps. The lodge operates as a wildlife rehabilitation centre. You can hear lions roar from the verandahs at dusk. Lion Cabins for two adults only sit within view of the night enclosures; the cabin with wood-fired hot tub opens to the enclosure fence. Each cabin includes an en-suite shower, complimentary wireless internet, and a private verandah.

The Homestead holds four rooms in the founders' original manor house. King rooms feature mosquito netting, fans, coffee stations, en-suite bathrooms, and views of either the dam and mountains or indigenous forest and gardens. One king room includes a fireplace. Queen rooms add a daybed and overlook the forest. The Suites building comprises twelve units with separate entrances and patios. Double and twin rooms with dam views include en-suite showers, television, and tea and coffee stations. Triple rooms hold a queen bed and a single. A two-room suite sleeps five with a queen, a single, and two twin beds. A single en-suite unit with interleading door to a family suite overlooks the dam.

Breakfast is served overlooking the cheetah enclosures. South African dinners are prepared in the boma kitchen and served outdoors most evenings. The property is a licensed premise. Overnight guests book guided wildcat tours at a discount to see African wildcats, servals, caracals, cheetahs, lions, leopard, and meerkats. The sundowner deck and several dams attract waterfowl. Forest and fynbos walking trails cross the property. A wellness spa operates on site. Secure parking is available. Plettenberg Bay lies fifteen minutes by road.
