Set on the Chobe River beside Chobe National Park in Kasane, the lodge occupies the meeting point of four countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. Established in 1959, the property has hosted safari guests for sixty-five years. One hundred and twenty rooms divide between riverfront wings and a bush cluster set back from the water. Thirty-two Safari Rooms, twenty River Rooms, and eight restored Rondavels face the river; thirty-eight Bush Rooms overlook a waterhole and the bush beyond. Each room has air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite television, a mini-fridge, mosquito nets, and a private balcony or terrace. Family rooms accommodate four guests across two separate bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. A sheltered campsite holds twenty-three stands with power points.

The Riverside Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner buffets beneath a thatched roof lined with local basketry; the Cattle Post Steak House runs an à la carte menu focused on Botswana beef cuts. Sedudu Bar & Grill, an outdoor lantern-lit venue, cooks over mopane wood and serves grilled espetada beef, line fish, lamb, boerewors, and vegetarian dishes including tofu-stuffed pumpkin and morogo spinach. Two pools sit within the gardens. Kwa Maningi Spa offers massages, facials, and treatments using indigenous ingredients including tsamma melon, baobab, and wild honey.

Double-decker boats launch from the jetty for guided cruises along the Chobe River; you can hear hippos and watch elephants cross the water with trunks raised as snorkels. Game drives run morning and evening into Chobe National Park. The lodge arranges tiger fishing, scenic flights, and day trips to Victoria Falls ninety kilometres north. Kasane International Airport sits ten minutes away.
