The House Hotel Galway

The House Hotel is a four-star independent boutique hotel on Spanish Parade in the Latin Quarter. Forty-eight rooms were refurbished in April 2025. All have king-size beds dressed in white linen, Italian-designed en-suite bathrooms with rainfall showers, individually controlled air conditioning, soundproofed windows, Smart TVs, Nespresso machines, and electronic safes. Standard Rooms include writing desks and complimentary WiFi; a rollaway bed converts them to triple occupancy. Deluxe Rooms add a full bathtub and handheld garment steamer. Super Deluxe Rooms provide bathrobes, slippers, and a lavender sleep kit. Eight Ground Floor Deluxe Rooms with direct access opened in July 2023, each uniquely designed and larger than standard. The Ground Floor Triple Deluxe holds a king-size bed, single bed, and pull-out sofa. The House Suite adds a separate lounge, private balcony, and two flat-screen Smart TVs.

A self-service breakfast runs daily with baps, eggs, bacon, fruit pots, yogurt, granola, coffee, and tea. The lobby bar serves cocktails, wine, prosecco, and beer. The Spanish Arch and Galway City Museum stand three minutes away on foot. Shop Street's boutiques, pubs, and buskers lie three minutes in the opposite direction. Eyre Square is five minutes, Galway Cathedral eight. Discounted parking is available at Hynes Yard Multi-Storey Car Park. The hotel's sister property, The Hardiman, sits five minutes away and houses The Oyster Room restaurant and MacNeill's Pub. A lift serves upper floors; ground-floor rooms and a rear ramp provide wheelchair access. Reception stores luggage and arranges day trips to the Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, and the Aran Islands.
