The Wilderness Collection - Warangi Ridge

Warangi Ridge sits on a ridge inside the Central Serengeti, with savannah views running out from every suite. The camp holds twenty tented suites, each insulated against the cold and fitted with a private deck, a plunge pool, a bathtub, and a fireplace — the fireplace earns its place on Serengeti nights, which run cold even in the dry months.

Activities run at least twice daily. Day and night game drives cover the concession, and the Orangi River, which runs below the ridge, provides a route for guided walks on foot. The camp also offers specialist bird walks for those who want to read the bush by its birds rather than its larger mammals, and broader eco-nature walks that move slowly through the landscape.

Back at camp, a restaurant, a reading lounge, a bar, an outdoor gym, a yoga deck, and a spa complete the facilities. The gym and yoga deck share the same savannah outlook as the suites, so you exercise with the plains in full view.

The camp's position in the Central Serengeti puts it within range of the year-round resident wildlife that does not depend on the seasonal migration for its movements.
