Set on a valley ridge above a working coffee plantation in the Ngorongoro highlands, Tloma Lodge comprises 24 ground-level cottages and 12 garden-view rooms in the main building. The cottages sit in two wings connected by pathways through flowering gardens. Each cottage holds either twin beds or one double, en-suite facilities with a shower, mosquito nets, a fan, and a private terrace with furniture facing the plantation or the crater wall to the west. Family rooms consist of two standard cottages linked by an interconnecting door. The 12 garden-view rooms occupy one block and overlook the vegetable garden.
The main building holds a lounge, restaurant divided into two seating areas, and a wide deck with views across the valley toward the Ngorongoro rim and an adjacent waterfall. The kitchen uses produce from the on-site vegetable garden. A solar-heated outdoor pool sits within the grounds. Guided nature walks depart into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area; guides also lead cultural visits to Karatu village. A trained masseuse offers full-body and head treatments in a dedicated massage cabin. The lodge runs on solar power with a generator backup. Lake Manyara airstrip lies 24 kilometres away. The Lolduare gate to Ngorongoro Conservation Area is 18 kilometres by road. Wi-fi, laundry service, room service, and parking are available.
