Togoro Plains Camp
Established as a low-density camp on the Lobo Plains in the north-eastern Serengeti, Togoro Plains is fourteen tented suites set against granite boulders away from the main safari circuits. Eleven suites hold double or twin beds; three family units contain two separate bedrooms. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a terrace facing the plains, and cotton linen. Privacy is maintained by spacing between units.

The camp operates entirely on solar electricity — a 53.2 kilowatt-peak array installed across the property — and processes waste outside the park. A restaurant serves seasonal meals; a bar and lounge area sit beneath canvas. A pool lies among the rocks. Security staff are on-site around the clock. Game drives depart with a guide; cheetah, giraffe, elephant, and a resident lion pride occupy the region year-round, and the Great Migration crosses the plains in October. You can hear bat-eared foxes at night. Balloon safaris over the Serengeti can be arranged. Wireless internet, laundry service, and vegetarian meals are available. The camp speaks English and French.
