Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort

Guests kayak from the resort's private beach at high tide aboard wooden ngalawa canoes piloted by the property's captains. Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort sits on Pongwe Beach on Zanzibar's east coast. Sixteen villas and bungalows occupy three lines inland from the shore. Seafront Luxury Villas stand on a low cliff above the water; five have private pools. Each villa spans 190 m² and combines bedroom and living room in a single open space, with both shower and bathtub and a wooden terrace fronting the ocean. The Royal Garden Villa, set in the third line, encloses 130 m² and holds a separate bedroom and living room, a private pool, and views of both sunrise and sunset. Deluxe Garden Bungalows, with and without partial sea view, measure 120 m² including garden and terrace; each accommodates up to three guests. All rooms carry air-conditioning, mosquito nets, Nespresso machines, and hammocks.

Cobia Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner from an all-inclusive menu built around produce from the resort's farm, which grows fruit, vegetables, herbs, and spices. Guests can tour the farm and the staff quarters on request. The spa offers Ayurvedic massage, coconut massage, Swedish massage, foot reflexology, facials with Zanzibar-grown ingredients, and aloe-vera treatments using plants harvested on site. Private yoga sessions take place on guest terraces or in the garden. A gym, outdoor pool, and beach volleyball and football pitches are available. Paddleboards and kayaks are complimentary. Excursions to Mnemba Atoll for snorkelling, Prison Island's tortoise sanctuary, Jozani Forest, and Stone Town depart from the property.
