Turquoise Bay Dive & Beach Resort

Set on a hillside above Roatán's northeast shore, Turquoise Bay Dive & Beach Resort occupies 30 acres within the Bay Islands' protected reef system. The property faces a calm bay and a 500-foot white-sand beach. Twenty-six rooms spread across the hillside and shoreline; Ocean View and Hillside rooms account for 20 of these units. Over-the-water bungalows extend above the bay.

Turquoise Divers operates as a PADI five-star Instructor Development Resort. The centre runs three dives daily — two morning, one afternoon — with night and sunrise dives available by request. Dive sites include coral walls, shipwrecks, and shark dives. Courses range from Discover Scuba Diving through to Instructor Development. The resort participates in an offshore coral nursery and restoration programme with the Coral Restoration Foundation. Adaptive diving facilities are in place for physically challenged divers.

Udurau Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style or à la carte in an air-conditioned dining room and an outdoor patio with ocean views. The menu combines Latin American, Italian, and Caribbean dishes. Locally sourced fish — tuna, snapper, wahoo, mahí mahí, grouper, king mackerel — is served daily. Three bars operate on site. Complimentary kayaks, snorkelling gear, and access to the beach and pool are included. Airport shuttle service runs between the resort and Roatán's airport.
