Villa Afrikana Guest Suites

Perched on a hill above Knysna in the Garden Route, Villa Afrikana Guest Suites overlooks the lagoon and the Knysna Heads. Six suites occupy ground, first, and top floors; all face the water. Each suite holds an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony. The Phantom Suite sits on an elevated floor with a separate entrance and veranda; it spans 35 m² and includes a free-standing bathtub, walk-in shower, and double washbasin. The Materolli Suite, on the first floor, runs 35 m² with wall-to-wall panoramic windows; its 14.5-m² bathroom has a bathtub, separate shower cubicle, double washbasin, and under-floor heating. The Gouna Suite, also on the first floor, covers 25.5 m² and features a free-standing bath overlooking the lagoon. The Owner's Suite on the first floor opens onto a 23.5-m² balcony. Top-floor Noetzie and Spitskop suites measure 32.8 m² and 29 m² respectively; Noetzie's 10-m² bathroom includes a spa bath, walk-in shower, and under-floor heating. All suites are air-conditioned and fitted with king-size beds; two can convert to twins.

Public areas include a lounge with fireplace, library, reading room, and dining area. Full breakfast is served in the dining room or in-suite. A light-meal menu of soups, salads, and cold platters is available. The salt-water pool sits on a sun deck with loungers. The property displays artworks by Neil Nieuwoudt.
