Wilderness Little Ruckomechi
Airy tented rooms on wooden decks above the Zambezi
Skip to product information
One of four en-suite tents raised on low wooden decks, built to evoke a bygone era of exploration. Each has a verandah facing the river, with mosquito nets, a fan, tea and coffee facilities, electrical outlets and a safe, plus complimentary laundry service. From the tent, or the camp's plunge pool, guests can watch elephants amble across the floodplain towards the Zambezi, with the Rift Valley escarpment rising beyond the far bank. Nights bring a chorus of sound: lion calls, a pearl-spotted owlet, the whoop of a distant hyena.
