Yellow Bird Hotel

Porcelain tiles and granite counters run through every room at Yellow Bird, recently refurbished and finished with rain showerheads in the bathrooms. The hotel sits directly on St. Lawrence Bay, and each room, studio, or suite claims some version of the same view: water, boats, and the curve of the Gap. Rooms range from a compact studio to a two-bedroom penthouse on the fourth floor with a Jacuzzi tub and a private balcony. The top suite adds a rooftop patio of its own, with a wraparound view of both bay and Gap. Kitchenettes come standard, with a fridge, stove, and microwave in every unit, useful for families or longer stays. You can hear the Gap's restaurants and bars from the terrace after dark, a five-minute walk in either direction. Downstairs, the poolside restaurant serves Bajan dishes made with herbs from its own kitchen garden, alongside a bar built for slow afternoons.
