Zarafa Camp sits on the edge of Zibadianja Lagoon in the Selinda Reserve, a private concession in northern Botswana that connects the Okavango Delta to the Chobe and Savute corridors. The camp holds four tented suites, each at three hundred and five square metres, positioned along the forest edge above the floodplain. The furniture throughout is handcrafted from recycled ancient hardwoods; the electricity comes from a solar farm on site, and a biogas plant converts waste into cooking fuel. Each suite has a private plunge pool, outside shower, and its own telescope and professional camera kit — camera body, lenses, and binoculars — available for use during the stay.

A separate two-suite private villa stands apart from the main camp with its own lounge and dining area under two hundred and ten square metres of canvas, and operates independently of the main camp.

The lagoon draws large concentrations of buffalo and elephant in the dry season, and the reserve also holds lion, leopard, cheetah, African wild dog — which typically den near camp each dry season — roan, sable, and an African skimmer colony on the water. Hippos are visible from camp in the lagoon.

Game drives go out in the early morning and late afternoon, with full-day drives available on request. The pontoon boat, HES Zib, runs lagoon cruises when water levels allow. Guided walks, catch-and-release fishing, and helicopter scenic flights are also available. The spa, between suite four and the private villa, offers treatments at an additional cost.
