Zebra Plains Mara Camp

Glass wraps the front of each suite in a span that opens the bedroom and separate lounge to the Talek River and the plains beyond. Eight accommodations occupy a riverside strip at the edge of Maasai Mara Game Reserve; five face the savannah, three sit within croton bush. Every suite measures 124 m² and includes an en-suite bathroom with twin basins and hot shower, a private balcony furnished with safari chairs, a minibar, and a tea station. Satellite television is available on request. Outdoor showers and bathtubs were added in December 2024.

Guests booked on a game package receive a private 4×4 safari vehicle and a dedicated guide holding Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association certification at Gold, Silver, or Diploma level. Drives depart at times you choose; routes follow your interests. Walking safaris cross surrounding terrain with qualified guides. A swimming pool overlooks the open plains. The main area holds indoor and outdoor lounges, a fully stocked bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic selections, dining spaces, and a campfire circle. Bush breakfasts, bush lunches, bush dinners, and private dinners under the stars are arranged on request. Each stay includes a 60-minute Swedish massage, laundry service, and personal butler. Hot-air balloon safaris, Maasai cultural visits, and night drives in adjacent conservancies can be booked separately. The lodge lies within sight of wildlife routes to the river; lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and hippos move through the area throughout the year.
