Alpenresort Schwarz

Alpenresort Schwarz is a spa resort set on the Mieming Sun Plateau, at 890 metres above sea level, roughly a 30-minute drive from Innsbruck. The plateau gets more sun than the valley floor below, and the resort's rooms and suites face out onto it, furnished in a bright, contemporary style with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and private bathrooms as standard. The spa is the resort's engine. A medical wing, staffed by resident doctors, offers blood panels, hormone-status checks and IHHT interval hypoxia training alongside conventional therapies such as physiotherapy and acupuncture. Facial and body treatments range from classic peels to JetPeel, a needle-free system that drives serum into the skin at speed. Two restaurants serve Alpine, regional and international menus, and the bar looks out over the plateau. Children's programmes run alongside the adult spa circuit, and on-site parking removes the need for a second car once guests arrive. It reads less as a mountain hotel than as a health clinic with better views, an impression the doctor consultations and lab tests only reinforce.
