Crans Ambassador

Set on high ground above Crans-Montana, the Crans Ambassador looks straight across the Valais to the Swiss Alps, its glazed façade turned toward the ridgeline. Wood, stone and amber tones run through the public rooms, a deliberate counterpoint to the peaks outside. The hotel holds 56 rooms and suites, split between forest-facing and mountain-facing categories, from a 15m² Chambre Forêt Supérieure to the 72m² Suite Ambassador on the eighth floor. Every category opens onto its own terrace. The Junior Suite Deluxe, on the ninth floor, carries a 56m² terrace with a day bed and a freestanding bath set as the room's centrepiece. The bar's glass wall frames one of the wider panoramas in Crans-Montana. Wellness centres on the Nescens Spa, a 1,300m² club built around balneotherapy, hydrotherapy, an indoor pool and a fitness lab aimed at athletes as much as guests seeking rest. A shuttle runs into the village, subject to availability, and the hotel sells ski passes directly at reception. It is a compact base for a mountain stay, built more for comfort than for spectacle alone.
