Arriving in Jing'An, guests step into a 37-storey tower set among Puxi's business streets and shopping districts, minutes from both. The hotel holds 422 rooms across a run of floors that climb from classic Deluxe Rooms on the lower levels to Grand Premier Rooms and suites higher up, most facing either the old Shi Ku Men rooftops or the wider Shanghai skyline. Rooms on the top floor unlock the Executive Club Lounge, a quieter tier with its own privileges. It is a straightforward hierarchy: higher floor, wider view. Suites run larger still. The Presidential Suite seats 14 for dinner in its own dining room, and the Premier Suite's table takes eight, both fitted with dark wood and soft gold tones. Food runs in parallel tracks: Si Ji Xuan, recommended by the Michelin Guide Shanghai in 2017, serves Chinese specialities and seafood across five private rooms, while the Steak House keeps to American-style cuts and a full salad bar. Shintaro covers Japanese plates in a room hung with contemporary art, and the Lobby Lounge, lit by oversized floor lamps behind glass, is where afternoon tea slides into evening cocktails. Qi Coffee & Bar, by the entrance, handles the grab-and-go hours. Check-in runs from 12:30pm.
