Lodge Mirador de Los Volcanes by Dot Cabana

Arriving along the road from Pucón toward Lake Caburgua, guests reach a 10-hectare park of native forest, trails, and lookout points 18 km from town. Ten cabins sit inside it, each fitted with a kitchen, terrace, heater, and safe, built for families or groups travelling together. The largest, the Superior cabin, sleeps up to nine across a double bed, two twins, and two bunk beds, at 50 m². Every cabin faces the Villarrica volcano and the surrounding mountains, a view fixed rather than incidental. Two pools, heated year-round, sit within the grounds, open through the coldest months as much as the warmest. A suspension bridge leads to a tree house built into the canopy. Sheep graze the lawns near a small farm with poultry, and a soccer field and volleyball court round out the grounds for children. Breakfast comes to each cabin's door, left under cover each morning. You can walk the property's trails to a viewpoint over the valley, or head five minutes further to the hot springs at Botanical Park. Lake Caburgua sits about ten minutes away by car, Ojos de Caburgua a few minutes beyond that. Wifi runs throughout, and pets are welcome for an added charge.
