Glass walls at Café 14 frame the entrance garden and the road toward the sand, so coffee here comes with a wide outdoor view rather than four walls. The hotel stands in Cox's Bazar's hotel-motel zone, close enough to the shore that the beach is a five-minute walk from the front door. Opened in 2010, it has grown into one of the area's larger hotels, built up through six guest floors plus a topmost level of suites. Rooms run in three tiers: Premier on the second and third floors, Superior Deluxe on the fourth and fifth, and Executive on the sixth. The Presidential Suite, on the top floor, spans 200 m² with its own living room and a balcony over the surrounding rooftops and hills. Outside, a 446 m² pool holds a fountain at its centre and a separate children's pool alongside; steps lead up from the pool to a barbecue terrace open through the evening. A jacuzzi nearby seats up to 15. Guests can also find a sauna, a steam room, a 550 sq ft gym, and a billiard room under one roof. Across its restaurants, the kitchen runs from Bengali rice-and-fish standards to Italian, Thai, Chinese, and Indian dishes, with a seafood-heavy barbecue menu after dark. Airport transfers and laundry are handled in house. Check-in comes with sea air already on the breeze.
