Mansion Alcazar

Mansión Alcázar is a converted republic-era house steps from Parque Calderón, in the historic centre of Cuenca. Built in the late 19th century as the residence of Enrique Cordero, son of former president Luis Cordero, the building now holds 19 rooms across a restored structure of antique furniture, courtyards and a walled garden. Guests can take a drink in the jasmine garden before dinner or read by the piano indoors. It is a small hotel by design. Rooms range from Economy doubles overlooking the interior patio to Suite Premier apartments with a kitchen, living room and balcony, and most look onto either the courtyard or the garden. Cocotte, the in-house restaurant, serves French and international dishes through the day, from breakfast at seven to dinner service that runs past ten at night, with tables set beside the garden. Check-in runs from 2pm, checkout by noon, and parking is provided on site.
