Mirage Camp Wadi Rum

Jeep tours cross the sandstone terrain of Wadi Rum, visiting the Seven Pillars of Wisdom and sites where films were shot. Mirage Camp Wadi Rum lies in the Wadi Rum desert of southern Jordan, among red-gold dunes and sandstone peaks. Fifteen tents accommodate up to four guests each; ten Deluxe tents of 25 m² blend Bedouin décor with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and WiFi. Five Martian tents occupy 50 m² and feature a dome design with a single panoramic window facing the desert. Each unit has heating, a private bathroom, and twin or queen beds.

Guided camel rides thread through the dunes. Stargazing tours use telescopes and run after dark; you can trace constellations from the open sand. Climbing and hiking excursions head to Burdah Mountain or Am Dami with an experienced guide. Local cuisine is served around the campfire at the camp restaurant. Breakfast is included. Tours can be arranged in advance or on arrival.

The camp has 24-hour service, secure parking, and credit-card facilities. Staff speak Arabic and English. Check-in opens at 1 p.m.; check-out closes at 11 a.m.
