Nham Village Resort

Tam Coc's rice fields surround Nham Village on all sides, with the limestone peaks of Ninh Binh rising beyond the paddies. The resort is built to recall a Northern Vietnamese village, its houses arranged like a hamlet rather than a hotel block. Two Rơm houses, ten Lúa houses and a single Thóc house make up the accommodation, each named for a stage of rice: straw, plant and grain. Rơm and Lúa houses run 45 square metres with mountain views and private balconies; Thóc, once an actual village home, spans 115 square metres around its own courtyard and sleeps five. Dark wood, bronze and lacquer furnish the interiors, a nod to regional craft. The Mộc Spa occupies a house that is two centuries old, its wooden rooms kept plain and quiet. A swimming pool looks straight across the paddies to the mountains beyond. You can borrow a bicycle to ride out among the fields, or take a sampan along the waterways that thread through them. The Cơm restaurant serves Vietnamese dishes built around rice, sourced partly from the resort's own garden, and Gạo Bar keeps a short list of spirits and mocktails. Bamboo weaving and rowing workshops run on site, with pagodas and historic sites a short trip from the gate. Check-in is from 2pm, check-out before noon.
