Park Gstaad

Park Gstaad is a hotel first opened in 1910, set in the village of Gstaad in the Bernese Alps. It closes an era and opens another: the property is scheduled to reopen for the 2026/2027 winter season under Four Seasons management, its alpine character redrawn by architects Jaggi and interior designer Joseph Dirand, known for his work with Givenchy and the Surf Club at Four Seasons Miami. The rebuilt hotel will hold 75 rooms, including 18 suites, alongside six branded penthouse residences reserved for private ownership. Each residence carries Dirand's design throughout. Owners get access to the hotel spa, an indoor pool and a fitness centre, plus concierge, valet and upkeep staff year-round. When the hotel is open, residents also get front-desk support, bellman help and cold storage for deliveries.

Gstaad itself sits in the Bernese Alps above 3,000 metres, with 220 kilometres of ski runs threading the peaks around it. Summer brings cycling, paragliding and walks through meadows thick with wildflowers. The village has long drawn a mix of royalty and performers, from the Menuhin Festival's classical crowds to polo at the Hublot Gold Cup. It is a small place with an outsized guest list. The hotel's return is timed to that rhythm: a century-old address, rebuilt room by room, due to reopen its doors in 2026.
