Six Senses Ninh Van Bay

Reached only by a short crossing from Nha Trang, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay was built on a stretch of coast with no road in. The bay sits below granite outcrops and forested peaks, and the villas were set among the rocks and sand rather than cleared into a single row. There are 62 of them, each with its own pool, a garden terrace or sundeck, a separate living area, and a small wine cellar. The setting does the work; the architecture keeps low and lets the outcrops and tree line stay in view from the terrace.

Four restaurants cover the ground between them. Dining by the Bay serves a breakfast buffet plus local and international dishes through the day, while Dining by the Rocks, built over the water, runs a six-course menu with wine pairings in the evening. The spa has its own pavilion for yoga, a fitness room, a salon, and a treatment list that runs from massage to supervised detox and oxygen therapy. It has a name for itself among Vietnam's resort spas.

There is no beach town beyond the property line. Access is by boat, which keeps the bay quiet and the water clear at the shore. Check-in guests arrive by private transfer from Nha Trang, and from the villas you can watch the fishing boats work the bay at dawn.
